Maxine's August Round-Up: Summers in Portugal and a Very Special Announcement!

Hello my lovely Absoluters! I hope everyone is doing well and has had a lovely summer! Between sunny adventures, work trips and wonderful family news, I’ve had a whirlwind of emotions and experiences. I can’t wait to share it all with you!

Before we dive in, I have the most exciting news to share with you all… I am so thrilled to announce that I’m going to be a grandma! My beautiful daughter Margot is having a baby! I can’t quite cannot contain my excitement and my heart feels incredibly full 💛 I am beyond proud of Margot, she’s been an absolute rockstar and I know she’s going to be the most incredible mother. It’s such a beautiful chapter in our family’s story and we’re all eagerly counting down the days until we get to meet our bundle of joy. ✨🩷💙

CoppaFeel! Visit

Charity partnerships mean the world to us here at Absolute Collagen and we’re incredibly proud to support CoppaFeel!, the UK’s first breast cancer awareness charity for young people. So, this month the team and I headed on the train and went down to London to visit CoppaFeel!’s wonderful HQ. It was so lovely to meet the amazing team and we were welcomed with open arms 😊 We filmed lots of educational content, and had some wonderful discussions about all the amazing things we’ll do together as this partnership grows. 

 Walking the Camino De Santiago 

This August, I took a much needed break and walked the Portuguese Camino De Santiago Pilgrimage, 134 km from Porta to Santiago. This has been on my bucket list for quite a while now, so in the spirit of doing 60 things before I turn 60, it was the perfect excuse to make this dream come to life and boy did we have fun whilst doing it. I got up daily, laced my trainers and walked through the most quaint villages and enchanting countrysides, it was so peaceful. Walking amongst nature is my happy place, it calms me. It’s my time to reflect and think, I love it. ⛰️🧘‍♀️ Oh and once we got there, it was absolutely beautiful, I really recommend putting it on your bucket list too!
