Maxine’s October Round-Up: Gender Reveal, TikTok Lives and Halloween Pranks!
Hello, my wonderful Absoluters! October has been a whirlwind of team-building, special events, and a few delightful surprises. I’ve got so much to share from this month’s highlights so grab a cuppa with me and let’s dive in 💛
I want to start this blog with some very exciting news. As you may know, my youngest daughter Margot is having a baby and we could not be happier for her. I’m even happier that we can announce that she is having a baby girl! 🩷 We gathered our friends and family for the big reveal and it was such a beautiful moment, filled with happy tears and celebration, a memory I will cherish forever. Margot is going to make such an incredible mother, I can tell she’ll be a natural but I’ll still be holding her hand the entire way. ✨😊
Strategy Day & Flight Club Fun
We kicked off October with our team Strategy Day, a fantastic day filled with big ideas, goal setting, and inspiration for the future of Absolute Collagen. I can’t reveal too much…. but 2025 is looking like a VERY exciting year for AC and I cannot wait to bring you all along on the ride. It was one of those days where you can feel the energy in the room as ideas bounce around and everyone’s enthusiasm shines through. I always find it so inspiring to see how much passion and dedication our team brings to the table.
And after a very productive day, we headed over to Flight Club to celebrate all our hard work with a night of darts, laughter, and friendly competition. It was such a fun and relaxed way to unwind as a team. I have to say, some people definitely surprised me with their dart skills! It’s moments like these that remind me just how lucky we are to have such a wonderful, supportive, and talented team.
TikTok Live & Coppafeel! IG Live with Shelley
This month, we also went live on TikTok and gave you guys some awesome gifts. Darcy and our social butterfly Katy (who you may have spoken to before!) got in front of the camera and went live on TikTok! I applaud anyone who has the courage to do this because sometimes it’s not easy to do but they made me so proud, they were absolutely amazing! I do love when we go live because it brings us closer to our Absolute Collagen community and lets us connect in a genuine, unfiltered way.
The IG Live with Shelley was especially meaningful. Shelley, representing Coppafeel!, shared so much valuable information about breast cancer awareness, self-checks, and the incredible work Coppafeel! is doing to promote early detection. Breast cancer awareness is a cause very close to my heart, and it was inspiring to see the positive response from everyone who tuned in. Huge thanks to Shelley for her positivity and being a fabulous host.
Halloween Pranks
Now, October wouldn’t be complete without some Halloween fun—and a prank or two! Our resident prankster, Darcy, took Halloween to the next level with a little surprise for the office. Let’s just say there were a few shrieks and jumps on a team call last week 😂 Thanks, Darcy, for keeping us on our toes!
So, that’s October wrapped up, another month of growth, connection, and celebrations.
