Maxine's June Round-Up: Clinical Results, Royal Ascot and the Sunday Times Top 100 List!

To start this round up - I have an announcement… As some of you may know, my daughter Darcy’s partner Richard works with us at Absolute Collagen and I am incredibly excited and emotional to announce that they are engaged! They have been together since Darcy was just 19 and they are absolutely brilliant together. I think it stands for quite a lot that they manage to live together, work together, share the same hobbies and still stick together through everything. I’ll let you in on a story here. We were down in Bath ready to surprise Darcy with a birthday party joined by family and friends but when they came through the door the tables turned as they had an even bigger surprise for us! 💍 It was so lovely to celebrate this with the people we love the most! I am absolutely bursting with joy and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for the both of them. 💛 Love you darling!

Clinical Results 

Absolute Collagen has some huge news! We are officially clinically proven! We held the largest and most robust clinical study of a collagen supplement. This is so exciting! This has been super important for us to do as a business in this industry. It's especially important for you guys as consumers to be able to have all the information you need before choosing what is right you. I’m very proud of our products and proud of how far we have come and now we have some really incredible results to support the product so many of you know and love. Nominations 

I’m very pleased to announce Darcy has been shortlisted for Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Midlands in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2023! Wow, what an achievement! I’m so incredibly proud of her and all that she's accomplished over the last 6 years. And if that wasn't enough, Darcy and I have both been shortlisted for Equity Backed Entrepreneur of the Year for the Midlands! The judges actually put us forward after hearing our story. They thought that how we started in my kitchen to then getting some great investors to back AC was such a great and powerful message to those just starting out in their business! 

Royal Ascot 

This month we attended Royal Ascot this month with Bolt Digital for a D2C event! We had such a fantastic day with some fabulous and inspirational people but more importantly we had fun as a family. I really appreciate the times when we can enjoy these events altogether, something I will never take for granted. We all enjoyed getting our dresses on and feeling very fancy and it was so lovely to see all the other spectacular outfits! We truly enjoyed the entire day and it was a fabulous experience.

FEBE Growth 100 List & Sunday Times!

AC has been named 69th in the FEBE Growth 100 list! This celebrates the founders and the teams behind the UK’s 100 fastest growing, founder led companies. It’s amazing to be named alongside some incredible companies such as Astrid, Skinny Food, Spabreaks and many more! I’m very pleased to announce that for the second year running we have made it to the Sunday Times list of the top 100 fastest growing companies in Britain! This year we placed 35th! The AC team have been working incredibly hard this year and it really shows. I’m so grateful to have a team as amazing as we do, the amazing efforts will never go unnoticed! Alongside this, we were also named as one of the best places to find work in the UK!

Ironman Adventures

This month Darcy and Richard competed in a half ironman! They completed a 1.2 mile swim, 13.1 mile run and 56 mile bike! They both absolutely smashed it. It is so amazing to see them really push themselves and embody our message to strive for absolute possibility. I think it’s so important for us to practice what we preach and you know what, I think we do a pretty good job of it! Darcy enjoyed competing so much that she has signed them both up for a full ironman to take part in this July. Go on Darcy and Rich!
