Maxine's December Round Up: TikTok Lives, Christmas Parties and a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all of our wonderful Absoluters. I hope you all had a brilliant night celebrating, wherever you may have been. I sure do love a New Year, it’s a time to reflect on my goals, myself, what I want to achieve and to reflect on what I might do differently this year. However, a few goals of mine will always stay the same, and that is to always empower, inspire and to always stay true to who I am. Remember, you will always be your biggest asset. I hope everyone has a wonderful 2024. 

Looking Back on 2023

As we bid farewell to 2023 and step into a new chapter, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible journey we've had. It was a phenomenal year for us. We launched our Deep Lift Skincare Range, we welcomed the wonderful Emma Willis to the team, conducted the largest clinical study on a collagen supplement, became B-Corp certified and so much more. Though, more importantly, whilst all of these things were happening; we smiled, we persevered, we worked hard and we had fun whilst doing it! 

This year has completely changed AC, a change that we could have only dreamt of when we first started in my kitchen and at the heart of our success and growth lies the unwavering support of our valued Absoluters. To you all, I thank you for your continued support and dedication, not just to AC but to each other. I’m so grateful for you all, sometimes words can’t even describe how much. 💛

 Absolute Collagen Christmas Party

We hosted our annual Christmas Party at Absolute Collagen. For us, it’s not just a night to celebrate Christmas but to celebrate the team and praise all the hard work they have done throughout the year. Of course, we had to have a sparkles theme and boy did the team show up and blow us away with their outfits! We dined, we laughed, we danced and it wouldn’t be an AC party without having our first ever AC awards?! It was a fabulous night and the best way to end the year with the team.

Great Place to Work Achievement

I have to share some amazing news with you all. Absolute Collagen is officially 'Great Place To Work' Certified 👏⁠ 94% of Absolute Collagen employees said it is a great place to work compared to 54% at a typical UK-based company... just wow. I was absolutely blown away by these results and honestly puts my mind at ease to know that we are doing one of the most important things in a business right. I am so committed to ensuring the team feels respected, valued and considered. Without them, Absolute Collagen wouldn’t be where it is today. I am so thankful but also so proud!

TikTok Live Shopping Event

In December, we hosted our very first TikTok live shopping event! It was such a brilliant new experience, but a daunting one at that! I’m not used to going live on social platforms and I am definitely still getting used to TikTok! You can catch me asking Margot questions all the time, she’s our expert! Nevertheless, we did it (despite some technical issues) and I am so proud of us. I want to thank our wonderful Absoluter Teresa who helped me massively on the night, she is our very own TikTok star and was absolutely brilliant! We heard first hand how Absolute Collagen has helped her and it was so amazing to hear her progress through using our product! Maybe we should go live more often… Watch this space 👀
