Maxine’s March Roundup: Celebrating My Birthday, Launching Haircare, and Welcoming Michael Douglas to the AC Family!

March was a massive month for Team AC - we had birthdays and new products and events galore!

It was my birthday in early March, and I’m super proud to say that I marked it with a very special charity partnership.

As you all know, I am a passionate supporter of the Prince’s Trust, and the work they do with underprivileged young people is extremely close to my heart, so to mark my birthday this year (and also to celebrate International Women’s Day) Team AC and I supported their Change A Girl’s Life campaign. We made a donation from each new subscription from March 7th-14th, meaning our fabulous new Absoluters helped us raise all-important funds to help women and girls in education, training, and achieving their potential. We raised an amazing £6,545.00, so a huge thank you to all who supported us.

March is also the birthday month of our fabulous Community Manager Katy - you’ll know her as the social butterfly of Absolute Collagen, and the queen of the Absoluters Facebook group! Katy and I went to London to celebrate her big day, and we had some delicious food and a lot of fun - and got a bit lost in the process!

The beautiful selfies came absolutely flooding in - Absoluters of all ages and all walks of life, sharing their lives and AC journeys with us - and Team AC and I couldn’t be prouder. This is what it's all about - reaching and empowering as many incredible Absoluters as possible, and creating a community that truly makes a difference!

Michael, along with Eva, will be helping us help YOU achieve your absolute best hair days, so keep an eye out for future announcements about the many exciting things we have planned! We kicked off our haircare launch in style with an incredible launch event complete with AC themed cocktails and it was nothing short of magical!

And the events fun didn’t end there - I also attended the CEW demo, an inspirational beauty industry event bringing together the most exciting beauty brands and entrepreneurs under one roof. It was amazing to chat to so many fabulous industry professionals and spread the word of our new haircare range.

Plus, I took part in an amazing panel discussion with WealthiHer, who invited me to join their female founders’ event in London, which was most enjoyable. I love nothing more than women supporting women! I loved chatting about being a female entrepreneur and the importance of supporting female founders. I also enjoyed attending the Prince’s Trust ‘Black Pound Marketplace’, a space for young Black business owners to showcase and celebrate their achievements whilst supporting one another - so many great businesses, so many incredible entrepreneurs!

And finally… Team AC has grown again, with fabulous new starters joining us in the insights and content team. We’re all working super hard to create the very best products and experiences for you, Absoluters, and the next few months are looking incredibly exciting…
