Maxine’s April Round-Up: Visiting 10 Downing Street, Charity Bag Drops and Brunches!

Hello, my lovely Absoluters, I hope that everyone is doing well and is enjoying the glorious sunshine! Well I can tell you that I've had such an exciting month and I cannot wait to share it with all of you, so grab a cup of tea and keep reading to find out exactly what I’ve been up to!

Charity Bag Drop for Birmingham Children’s Hospital

I’m sure you all know by now how passionate I am about helping and supporting Birmingham's Children Hospital. It’s a charity that truly means so much, not only to me but to the entire team at Absolute Collagen. It’s so important for us to give back and especially to our loved Birmingham community. So, we continued supporting by doing our quarterly bag drop! We filled 400 bags with overnight essentials for those who need them most. The whole team got involved packing the bags, it's so great to see everyone come together for such an important cause. We have a duty to care for our community and it really warms my heart knowing that even the smallest gesture can make the biggest difference in someone's life. 💛

10 Downing Street!

On a slightly different note, guess who got the chance to stroll through the iconic doors of 10 Downing Street? Yours truly had the honor of visiting this historic landmark. It was a surreal experience, to say the least. Walking in the footsteps of some of the most influential figures in history was truly humbling. Myself along with 90 other female founders got together to shine a light on amazing brands built by women and I’m so grateful that little old me got to be part of it! ✨

My Daughters Surprised Me!

As most of you would have seen from my Instagram, I celebrated my birthday back in March and I had a lovely time spending it with my family and friends. Now I thought that my birthday celebrations were over as we stepped into April… until my gorgeous daughters surprised me with a weekend trip to Ibiza! I was completely shocked! But boy am i grateful to have such loving and thoughtful daughters, i honestly felt so special. 💛We had a fantastic time, we ate lots of incredible food, relaxed and spent some much needed family time together. It can be hard to work with family at times, sometimes we forget that work is work and family is family so this trip came about at the perfect time. Any time I get to spend with my girls away from work is pure magic. It was a perfect weekend ✨⁠

Absoluter Brunches

As part of my journey of doing 60 things before i turned 60, I wanted to give back to our Absoluter community by inviting them to a brunch with myself and some of the team! I always want our customers to feel included in everything we do and what’s better than meeting face to face over a delicious meal! It was truly so lovely to meet these ladies, every one of them is so special in their own way and I can only hope to meet more of you in the future. We shared stories, laughed and that is what it is all about. Building these relationships with customers is part of my purpose, everything I do is for the Absoluter and I'm so lucky to have you all on the Absolute Collagen journey.  💛
