Maxine's September Round-Up: Bake Off, Office Party's and National Collagen Day!

Hello my wonderful Absoluters! I hope everyone is doing well. Well, summer is officially over, the leaves are falling, the mornings are colder, it's finally autumn. I do love summer but there's nothing cosier than curling up on the sofa with a warm cup of tea, especially with Rosie.🐾 

Our Office Summer Party

We started the new season off with a bang! We hosted our AC Summer Party in our brand new office! We opened the doors to our very yellow HQ and invited some of the people close to AC for a special look inside. The party was all about good vibes, think summer drinks, delicious food, and lots of laughter. We decked out the office with balloons, a sweet cart and created cosy spaces for everyone to chill and catch up. It was such a fantastic evening, filled with team spirit and lots of fun memories. I even got a bit emotional looking around and seeing how far we’ve come as a brand, from kitchen tables and packing orders in the garage to this incredible space that now feels like home. Here’s to many more celebrations in our new HQ! ✨

AC’s Very Own Bake Off!

Now, for a real treat—quite literally! We had a super special guest in the office this month: Nicky from Bake Off! Yes, the one and only. Nicky popped in to host our very own Absolute Collagen Bake Off, and let me tell you, it was one of the most fun (and delicious) days we’ve had in a while. Everyone in the office displayed the treats that they had baked the night before, ready to impress Nicky with their creations. There was a serious array of treats on offer, from cake pops to delicious brownies. Nicky was such a fantastic host, full of baking tips and some insider bake off gossip🤪 and of course, she crowned our Bake Off champion by the end of the day. Honestly, it was hard to choose just one winner—they were all so good! 😋🍪

Force From Forty Press Day

Another exciting event was our Force From Forty Press Day, where I had the pleasure of chatting with various media outlets, including radio interviews, all about being a force from 40 years old and beyond! It was such an empowering day, full of great conversations about how life really begins at 40, and how we can continue to thrive, be confident, and embrace all the opportunities that come with this stage in life. 

National Collagen Day!

And last but not least, we celebrated National Collagen Day with a proper breakfast party in the office. To keep things fun, we went full-on British and had Greggs brought in for the team. Sausage rolls, bacon butties, vegan options—you name it, we had it! It was such a lovely and relaxed way to celebrate a day that’s all about what we do here at Absolute Collagen. And it’s always important to treat the team to a well earned breakfast. They deserve it! 💛

So, that’s a wrap on September! From parties and press events to baking and breakfasts, it’s been a month filled with joy, creativity, and some serious team bonding. I couldn’t be prouder of everything we’ve achieved this month, and as always, I’m so grateful to have such an incredible team and community by my side.
